Rick

Rick Armellino is a singer, guitarist, multi-instrumentalist, producer, songwriter, engineer, and composer with twenty years of experience on stage and in the studio.

As a live performer, Rick has logged 74 international tours as a member of Ice Nine Kills and HAWK, including four consecutive years on the road with Metallica, and full-length runs alongside Slipknot, Lamb of God, Motionless in White, Bad Omens, and The Vans Warped Tour, among many others.

In the studio, Rick has worked across records, film, and video game soundtracks — collaborating with artists on everything from early writing sessions to final mix. His credits span Fearless, Sumerian, Victory, Sharptone, and InVogue Records, and many others.

Rick is proudly endorsed by Ernie Ball Music Man, D'Addario, Dingwall, Walrus Audio, HJS, Electro-Harmonix, and Telefunken.

An avid studier of mindfulness, story telling, and humor, his work is guided by a genuine attention to emotional depth — the belief that the most important element in any piece of music is also the hardest to manufacture. That focus shapes everything from the way a song is written to the way it's mixed.

Rick also has a bachelors of arts degree from the University of Alabama that has been kind of inconsequential to all of this but it’s hanging up in the studio, so.
